Paul Hannam - Partner
Paul is founder and Chairman of several successful businesses in recruitment, training, consultancy and marketing. The first business he set up in 1988 grew rapidly to achieve annual revenue of over $50 million in 2000. In early 2007 Paul co-founded Bright Green Talent with Tom Savage with the mission of recruiting the brightest and the best talent in the world to work for organizations that are committed to sustainability and corporate social responsibility www.brightgreentalent.com. In late 2007 Paul became Chairman and co-owner of Greenest Host, a web hosting solution that is 100% solar-powered and provides design, consultancy and marketing services for all organization that want to reduce energy and be more sustainable www.greenesthost.com.
Between 2001 and 2005 Paul was an Associate Fellow at the Oxford University Environmental Change Institute and was an Adjunct Fellow of Linacre College from 2002 to 2005. Paul taught several courses on Environmental Management, Organizational Behavior, and Environmental Leadership.
Over the last 15 years Paul has trained thousands of people in the business and non-profit sector, including courses on Leadership, Sales, Change and Personal Development. His clients have included HSBC, Barclays Bank, British Airways, BT, Canon, Fidelity Investments, Friends Provident, Mars and many more.
Charlie O Malley - Partner
Charlie has advised early stage companies on strategy and finance over many years. Most recently, he was the co-founder of P3 Capital, a boutique advisory business based in London that provides strategic advice to early stage green businesses and introduces value adding investors.
Charlie's early career was in corporate finance and venture capital at HSBC, PwC and Deloitte & Touche and a private family office. He then went on to launch a new community finance fund on behalf of The Big Issue and advised them on the launch of a proposed venture capital fund; he was the creator of Walk Your Talk, an annual conference for socially responsible entrepreneurs; and he was UK Director of Social Venture Network, an international network of entrepreneurs, business leaders and change agents dedicated to changing the way the world does business.
Charlie was educated at Oxford University; the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and he has an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice from Bath University. He is a qualified chartered accountant. In 2007 Charlie was selected as one of the most influential environmental business leaders in London by the Evening Standard newspaper.
